Solicitors donate money to local primary school

Southport and Liverpool law firm Brown Turner Ross Solicitors donated £1000 to Holy Trinity CE Primary School in Southport.

Dave Bushell, Partner at Brown Turner Ross Solicitors dropped in to meet with the pupils and staff and hand over the cheque for £1000.

Holy Trinity CE Primary School will use the money to help pay for the much anticipated year six pupils end of year trip; the children will be going to Denbigh in North Wales next summer.

The money will come from The Elsie Talbot Bridge Charitable Trust which is administered by Brown Turner Ross Solicitors, which they use to help local charitable organisations such as schools, youth groups and community organisations.

Dave Bushell, Partner at Brown Turner Ross said:

"This really is the part of my job I enjoy the most; having the ability to assist schools like Holy Trinity is an amazing feeling. Seeing the children happy and know that Brown Turner Ross has played a part in that happiness makes it all worthwhile, we hope the pupils have a brilliant time next summer."

Sue Mawdsley, Head Teacher at Holy Trinity CE Primary School said:

"We are overjoyed that Brown Turner Ross has donated money towards the Year six trip. The money will go towards ensuring the children have a well deserved break together and take with them happy memories as they think about leaving us and moving on to high school. Without a donation like this, many of our families would not be able to find the funds for such an exciting holiday."
