Solicitors willing to waiver a fee for Jospice donations
Northwest law firm, Brown Turner Ross are giving people in
Liverpool and Southport the opportunity to draw up their will and
have their fee benefit Jospice in the process.
The Jospice Will Week begins on Monday 10th May 2010, Brown Turner Ross will not retain a fee to anyone who has their will drawn during Jospice Will Week or makes an appointment during that week, and instead the fee they receive will be donated directly to Jospice.
Will Week is part of Jospice Week, which aims to raise funds and highlight the work of the hospice and its positive effects on the local community. Jospice is a local Liverpool charity which cares for local people and their families with terminal illnesses.
St Joseph's Hospice is a 25 bed hospice based in Thornton Liverpool, caring for terminally ill patients and their families. The charity was founded by Father Francis O'Leary MHM in 1962, and supports several clinics and hospices in Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras & Peru, that were opened under the charity's original name "Jospice International".
During Jospice Will Week, there is an open day on the Thursday 13th May at Jospice, which gives local people the opportunity to come along and have a look at what Jospice do, this allows for complete transparency with their work and breaks down any barriers which people may have, if they are scared to visit or do not know what to expect.
